Adding a Driver

Use Driver Manager to add drivers to 360 and create driver profiles

Updated over a week ago

Driver Management permissions required.

To add a driver:

1. Go to Drivers > Driver Manager.

2. Select Add Driver.

The Add Driver window displays with the General tab selected.

3. In the General tab, at minimum, enter the required information as indicated by asterisks.

4. Select the Settings tab. This screen configures drivers to use the EROAD Drive app. You must specify:

  • Division defines which vehicles the driver can see and choose in the Drive app.

  • 360 Username and password provide the driver with access to the Driver Portal. Set Password becomes selectable when you enter the username.

  • Primary Rule set is the driver's default ruleset.

  • Enter an External Reference number for integration to the Sysco back office.

5. In addition, in the Settings tab:

  • Ensure that Driver Hours Enabled is checked.

  • As needed, drag additional rulesets the driver can choose from the Available column to the Enabled column.

6. Select the Driver Group tab, and add the driver to a driver group by selecting and dragging the name of the group from the Available Groups list to the Assigned Groups list.

Be sure to select the group as the Primary group.

7. Select Save.

You have added a driver and created the driver's profile. The driver appears in the driver management list.

As needed, use the Edit Driver option to create an alert plan for the driver. See Edit driver profiles.
