Feature Enhancements

The following enhancements were completed for this release.

Add Float Geofence to Route Inspector and Tracking (RMT-1151)

Previously, when viewing overlapping geofences in Route Inspector or Tracking, it was difficult to identify which geofence corresponded to a selected or hovered location. To improve clarity, the selected or hovered geofence is now visually brought to the front on the map, making it easier to see which geofence you are working with.

Driver Names Toggle on Map Settings (RMT-1249)

Previously, driver names were always visible on the Tracking and Route Inspector maps, which could cause visual clutter. To improve map customization and reduce clutter, we added a toggle in Map Settings that allows users to show or hide driver names on both pages, with the setting persisting as users navigate between them. The map updates instantly when the toggle is changed, and other map labels remain unaffected.

Fixed Issues

The following issues were fixed for this release.

Driver Logs Do Not Load Due to Missing Midnight Event (DFT-971)

We resolved an issue in which the Driver Logs page failed to load if a day had no ELD events and the previous event was an intermediate event. This is now resolved by ensuring only supported event types are used as the anchor event, allowing the logs to display correctly without errors.

Driver Incorrectly Assigned to a Vehicle's Routes Even When Logged Out (RMT-1204)

Resolved an issue where routes for a truck were incorrectly assigned to a particular driver even when he was not logged into the vehicle. This is now resolved by ensuring that only a driver currently logged into a truck is assigned new or pending routes, preventing assignments based on stale sessions.

Deleting Route Popup Remains on Screen (RMT-1207)

When deleting a route in Route Manager, the “Deleting route xxxx” informational popup remained on screen after the task was complete. Now, when a route delete request completes successfully, the “Deleting route xxxx” popup is dismissed automatically and no longer visible on the page.
