New Features
The following new features are introduced in this release.
Geofence Accuracy and Policy Controls (CAB-2361, CAB-2367, CAB-2354, CAB-2395, CAB-2394, RMT-920, RMT-986)
We implemented configurable policies for geofence entry/exit triggers based on GPS accuracy, speed, and distance. This reduces the number of false alerts and improves reliability.
Enhanced Logging for Investigations (RMT-1135, RMT-1095, RMT-980)
We added precise logging for job geofence events and location captures, making troubleshooting and support faster and more accurate when reconstructing what happened during a route or job.
Configurable Geofence Sync (CAB-2391, CAB-2393)
Administrators can now configure devices to sync all geofences, only route-assigned geofences, or all depot/yard geofences. This ensures efficient geofence management for high-volume accounts and reliable ELD Yard Move prompts for any depot or yard location, regardless of route assignment.
Single Job Mode Policy (RMT-986)
We added a policy to optimize the job screen for single-job workflows, which hides unnecessary banners for a cleaner experience.
Feature Enhancements
The following enhancements were completed for this release.
Optimized Geofence Loading (CAB-2393)
We improved geofence loading and caching for faster performance, especially with a large numbers of geofences.
Debounce and Filtering for GPS Data (CAB-2230, RMT-920)
We enhanced filtering of unreliable GPS readings so that only high-quality data triggers geofence events.
Job Completion and Sync (RMT-924)
We completed or archived jobs so they no longer reappear on devices after updates, ensuring clean job lists and accurate workflows.
Job Cancel and Route Un-Assignment (CAB-2181)
We improved automation and messaging for route cancellations and job dismissals.
Workflow Step Timing (RMT-984, CAB-2152)
Workflow transitions are now smoother and more reliable with immediate recognition of activity completion.
French Translation Corrections (CAB-2384)
We corrected French translations throughout the app for a more accurate and consistent experience.
Toolbar and Dashboard UI Fixes (CAB-2192, CAB-2083)
We resolved issues with cropped toolbars, overlapping widgets, and blank areas on the dashboard that occurred when adding multiple drivers and rotating the screen.
APK Naming Convention (CAB-2372)
APK file names now clearly include the patch number for easier version identification.
Memory Leak Fixes (CAB-2048, CAB-2064)
We addressed memory leaks and optimized database calls for improved stability and performance, especially on low-end devices.
Sensitive Data Encryption (CAB-2443)
All sensitive driver fields are now securely encrypted after push updates.
Fixed Issues
The following issues were fixed for this release.
Problem with Push Notifications (CAB-2140)
To ensure timely job delivery, jobs sent during network outages are now delivered immediately once connectivity is restored.
Change Vehicle Form Not Working As Expected (CAB-2106)
We resolved an issue where the Change Vehicle form would not submit or cancel correctly. The form now submits and cancels correctly for vehicle and trailer assignments.
Sign-Out Button Stops Working After Dismissing Jobs Popup (CAB-2108)
We resolved an issue where the sign-out button would stop working after dismissing the jobs popup. The sign-out workflow now completes as expected.
Issue With Location Not Available Card (CAB-2173)
We resolved an issue where Drive would slow down when displaying the "Location Not Available" card after location was turned off. This is now resolved so that the card displays correctly without causing excessive memory use.
Unidentified Driving Popup Displays Incorrectly (MF-3)
We fixed an issue where the Unidentified Driving popup would appear for logged-in drivers. The popup will now only display when no driver is logged in, improving the driving experience and reducing unnecessary interruptions.
Duplicate UD Events Due to Acceptance Causing Incorrect Burndowns (DFT-417)
We resolved an issue where accepting multiple unidentified driving (UD) events could create duplicate entries and incorrect cycle hour calculations. This is now resolved by ensuring the acceptance flow only runs once and burndowns are accurate.
Moffett Cannot Be Used as a Trailer (CAB-2234)
Previously, moffetts were considered primary vehicles and could not be assigned as trailers in Drive. Moffetts can now be assigned as trailers, not just primary vehicles.
Performance and Security Updates
We updated performance and security as follows.
Analytics and Logging Improvements (RMT-1134, CAB-2472): Improved error reporting and log clarity for faster troubleshooting.
Sensitive Data Handling (CAB-2443): All sensitive driver fields are now encrypted after push updates.
Database and Memory Optimization (CAB-2064, CAB-2072): Reduced memory footprint and improved performance by optimizing database calls and data retention.
