Feature Enhancements

The following enhancements were completed for this release.

Missing Driver Logout Status in 360 if Driver Logs Out After Three Days (CAB-1259)

Previously, in 360, the driver logged-in state remained unchanged when a driver logged out after being logged in for more than three days. This resulted in the wrong driver logged-in state in 360. The driver still displayed as logged in after the driver had logged out. We enhanced Drive so that it updates the context history for these cases, ensuring 360 Driver Manager correctly reflects the driver state as logged off.

Enforce DVIR Based on Policy (CAB-1321)

We added functionality to enforce pre-trip and post-trip inspections. This removes the driver's ability to skip inspections in either the sign-in or sign-out flows. The feature is enabled by policy per account to provide customers with the flexibility to ensure safety measures across their fleets.

Fixed Issues: General

The following general issues were fixed for this release.

Primary Driver Update Card Triggered When Logged in as a Single Driver (CAB-638)

The Primary Driver Update notification would appear even when there was only one logged-in driver. This was fixed so that the card only appears when there are team drivers, and one driver signs out and the co-driver becomes the primary driver.

Device Set to Airplane Mode Issue (CAB-1533)

Setting the device to airplane mode disabled Drive App access. This was fixed so that drivers can use Drive in offline mode when the device is in airplane mode.

App Showed PIN Screen When TC-78 Screen Orientation Changed During Vehicle Selection (CAB-1654)

During the sign-in process, on the Select Vehicle screen, the PIN screen would display when the driver changed the screen orientation between portrait and landscape. This was fixed so the PIN screen does not display.

Fixed Issues: ELD

The following ELD issues were fixed for this release.

Supervisor Proposed Edits Notification Did Not Display for Proposals Outside Day History (DFT-329)

Fixed an issue where the Supervisor Proposed Edits notification did not appear for proposed unidentified edits that were outside of the ruleset history days.

OK Confirmation Button Was Not Disabled When Annotation Was Less Than Minimum Character Limit (CAB-1358)

On Drive APK versions 1.12 and higher, when adding annotations to Personal Conveyance and Yard Move statuses, Drive did not disable the OK button when the text was less than four characters. The ELD mandate requires at least four characters when annotating ELD record of duty status events. The button now remains disabled until the minimum characters have been entered.

All ELD Events on Roadside Inspection Screen Should Display in English for U.S. Rulesets (CAB-1227)

Per the FMCSA, for U.S. rulesets, all ELD log events must display in English on the Roadside Inspection screen. Previously, when the device language was changed to French, some events on the Roadside Inspection screen would appear in French even for U.S. rulesets. Now, English is always enforced for U.S.-based rulesets. (The Roadside Inspection screen for Canada rulesets displays in either English or French depending on the user language preference.)

Unidentified Rejected Records Causing Null Pointer When Reviewed (CAB-1056)

We have resolved an issue that occurred when drivers reviewed unidentified records. This fix addresses an error that would cause the application to crash under specific (rare) conditions.

Driving Lock Screen Did Not Appear After Drive App Refresh and Provisioning (DFT-322)

Directly after provisioning a previous Drive App APK release (1.13.1133), the driving lock screen did not display as expected when the driver went into Driving status. This was fixed so that now the screen always locks during Driving status.

Fixed Issues: DVIR

The following DVIR issues were fixed for this release.

Pre-Trip Notification Persisted After Vehicle Reassignment (CAB-836)

The Pre-Trip notification persisted on the dashboard after a vehicle assignment change to another driver (as indicated by an Assignment Changed notification). This was fixed so the Pre-Trip message no longer displays after a vehicle reassignment.

Pre-Trip Notification Persisted After Unassigning a Vehicle (CAB-1443)

The Pre-Trip notification persisted on the dashboard after a driver unassigned a vehicle. This was fixed so the Pre-Trip message no longer displays after unassigning a vehicle.

Trailer Defects Header on Inspection Screen Hidden Behind the Input Text Field (CAB-644)

In the DVIR inspection flow, some screen text was partially obscured by a text-entry field. The interface was fixed.

Inspection Details Cut Off in Roadside Inspection (CAB-1389)

Fixed a minor user interface bug where some details were not legible in the Roadside Inspection screen.

Vehicle Change Workflow Issue with Vehicle Selection (CAB-1441)

During the sign-in process, Drive did not unassign a vehicle after a driver backed out of performing a pre-trip inspection. Since pre-trip inspections are now enforced, Drive should automatically unassign the vehicle, which it did not. This was fixed so the vehicle becomes unassigned.

Fixed Issues: French Translation

The following French translation issues were fixed for this release.

Driver User Features on the Drive App to be Displayed in French (CAB-848)

To support customers with operations in Canada, Drive can now be enabled in the French language via the device settings.

Titles for "ELD App Started" and "On Duty" Still in English (CAB-1419)

Fixed a bug where some words in the French version of the app were still showing in English.

"Meal Break" should be in French (CAB-1433)

Fixed a French language translation error for "Meal Break" on the main screen for the French language version of the Drive App.

Sub-Text Under Some of the General Settings Still in English (CAB-1418 )

Fixed an interface bug where the French language version of Drive was showing some English language messaging.

Overflow Menu Button Not Displaying on TC-78 (Rules and Availability Screen) (CAB-1543)

Fixed a bug in the French version of Drive where the menu button was not showing in portrait mode on certain devices.
