When drivers need to cancel routes, they unassign the remaining stops by selecting Cancel Route on the Request Cancel form on their handhelds. The route reappears in Route Manager as an Incomplete route.
To reassign all the remaining stops on the route to another driver or vehicle, simply assign it as you usually would. In EROAD Drive, the new driver will see the assignment in Jobs.
The new driver can also request the route using the Request Cancel form.
When assigned to the new driver, Route Manager automatically assigns only the stops that were not completed by the first driver.
If you want to only assign a portion of the remaining stops, you must first create a new route. The route will appear in Route Manager as an Incomplete route that you can then assign.
