Filter and Sort Tracking Lists

Use filters and sorting to view just what you want to see on the Tracking map

Updated over a week ago

By default, the Tracking screen lists all vehicles in the organization in alphabetical order. You can filter the list so you only see vehicles from a particular fleet or that have a particular status. You can also search for a particular vehicle using the Search box and sort the list into subgroups.

You can filter and sort the drivers, locations (geofences), and events lists in a similar manner.

To filter and sort the vehicles list:

On the Tracking page, select the filtering icon. A pane with filtering and sorting options displays.

  • Status: Filter the list to display vehicles with statuses:

    • At Location: Inside a geofence

    • On: Ignition on

    • Excessive Idle: Ignition is on but the vehicle has not moved in a prescribed amount of time, depending on the vehicle

    • Stationary: Ignition off

    • Offline: Last reported update more the 24 hours ago

You can select more than one option.

  • Fleet: Filter the list by fleet name. You can select one or more fleets.

  • Group by: Sort the list into Status or Fleet subgroups. Selecting Status groups the vehicles into At Location, On, Excessive Idle, Stationary, and Offline lists. Selecting Fleets groups the vehicles into fleet lists.

  • Sort by: The current default is Vehicles, which sorts the list by vehicle name.
