Route Inspector integrates the Tracking map, locations, events, and geofence editing features into Route Manager to streamline your route monitoring workflows. This is especially helpful for dispatchers.
Without exiting Route Manager, dispatchers can adjust geofences in the moment when drivers arrive at stops and park outside of geofence perimeters.
Outside of 360, dispatchers receive a list of all stops where drivers arrived manually, and they have to update the list of geofences manually. They can find and edit the geofences in Route Manager > Route Inspector.
If a dispatcher wants to see where a vehicle is for a route In Progress, they can view its current location in the map view, which updates similar to the Tracking page.
Note: Correcting a geofence does not retrospectively fix older arrivals or departures.
How It Works
Ensure you have the following permissions.
Job Management > Phoenix Route Manager > View Route Inspector
Route Management > Edit Routes.
Remember: Be sure to update your 360 profile settings to the driver's time zone if it differs from your time zone.
1. In Route Manager, click on a route to open the route details popout that shows all the stops.
The information column indicates whether the arrival/departure was:
Automatic (A): Update logged as a result of entering or exiting the geofence.
Manual (M): Update logged when driver tapped Arrive in the Drive app Jobs screen.
Dashes indicate information was not available, which could indicate skipped/missed stops.
Tip: The manual arrival indicator could mean the driver parked outside the geofence. After verifying, edit the geofence.
2. Click Track this stop on any stop to open Route Inspector.
The map opens to show the geofence for the stop. Blue lines indicate arrival and departure routes; the endpoints should be within the geofence.
Hover over the stop number icon to see arrival and departure details.
To close Route Inspector, click Back to route manager.
3. Click anywhere in the geofence to open the stop locations panel, which slides in from the left.
4. Click Edit to edit the geofence.
The Edit Location panel opens, and the geofence changes color to indicate that you are in edit mode.
For details about geofence editing, see Edit Geofences in Tracking.
5. After editing and saving your changes, you can see the change.

FAQs
How do users get access to inspect a route?
To inspect routes within Route Manager, they need the Job Management > Phoenix Route Manager > View Route Inspector permission. This is a new permission.
To also be able to edit geofences within Route Manager, they need: Route Management > Edit Routes. This permission previously existed to enable geofence editing in Tracking.
If I don’t have ability to edit geofences in Tracking, can I edit them in Route Manager?
No. You need the Route Management > Edit Routes permission. This permission turns on geofence editing for both Tracking and Route Manager.
Does vehicle location update automatically?
Yes, it updates similar to the Tracking page. Refresh the screen to see the latest arrival/departure information.
Why can’t I see a geofence in the map view?
To see (and edit) geofences, you must have access to the geofence’s Location Group. If you have access, verify that the map Settings > Show geofences toggle is enabled.
What events are shown on the Route Inspector map view?
You can see the following events:
Ignition on/off
Motion start/stop
Geofence enter/exit
Stop icon on the geofence: Arrival/Departure type with time when you hover over the icon
Why don’t I see vehicle history in Route Inspector?
This can happen when a vehicle does not have a CoreHub (telematics device) installed.
What happens if my trip is across two days?
Events shown on the map and route are for the current day only. Use the Date filter to choose events to display between both days.
