New Features

The following new features were completed for this release.

New Leave of Absence Driver Status (DFT-233)

Superusers only. The Driver Manager > Edit Driver > General tab has a new Leave of Absence (LOA) checkbox. Selecting this box marks the driver as on leave and segregates the driver from the active drivers. This leads to increased efficiency when managing drivers. For example:

  • Eliminates manual activation/deactivation when drivers go on leave or return.

  • Improves reporting efficiency by excluding LOA drivers from ELD Insights Dashboards and the Uncertified Logs Report, ensuring accurate reporting and streamlining admin report review while drivers are on LOA (DFT-270, to come in future release).

LOA drivers still display as active on the Driver Manager screen so you can track them. To facilitate LOA tracking, you can add a Leave of Absence column to the Driver Manager grid display. To do so, go to User Settings. When a driver is on LOA, a green checkmark displays.

Drivers marked as LOA can still log in to EROAD Drive. Upon first sign-in after the LOA, the driver automatically returns regular status.

Feature Enhancements

The following enhancements were completed for this release.

Reefer Geofence Entry/Exit Alert Notifications Now Show Temperature Data (LMT-584)

Reefer alerting for geofence entries and exits was improved. The enhancement fixes an issue in which temperatures weren’t included in email and Message Center alert notifications sent when reefers entered or exited geofences. (This assumes enabled alerts for geofence entry and exits.)

Previously, in Admin > Location Manager > General Settings > Alerting > Add Alert Plan, you would select Location Entered and Location Exited to receive the alerts. Now, for reefers, choose two new location events - Location Entered - Reefer and Location Exited - Reefer - so that the notifications will correctly show temperature data.

Fixed Issues

The following issues were fixed for this release.

Driver ELD Log Report Didn’t Show Signature Line for Drivers (DFT-527)

After PDF export, the Driver ELD Log Report now displays "Driver" instead of "Supervisor" in the signatory section, aligning with requirements for paper submissions that require driver's signature. This fix applies to the Canadian version of the Driver ELD Log Report, too.

Driver Name Column In Vehicle Manager Clears Name When Navigating Back To Page Or Refreshing Page (VMT-328)

Previously, after adding the Driver Name column to the Vehicle Manager display, the column would clear when the user clicked away from Vehicle Manager (or signed out of EROAD 360) and then returned. Now the Driver Name column consistently shows the drivers' names.

Message Center Not Automatically Refreshing Page (CT360-1369)

The Message Center was no longer updating automatically (i.e., new messages triggering a refresh). Customers had to manually refresh the page to get new messages to appear. Now the Message Center page automatically refreshes, showing the latest messages.

Reefer Manager Playback Was Not Showing Reefer Data (LMT-304)

On the Playback screen for a running reefer, the screen only displayed the Motion, Reefer Active, Reefer Alerts, and Speed graphs. The console issue was fixed so that now the Fuel Level, Engine Speed, and various temperatures graphs also display.

Vehicle Health View Data Was Inaccurate or Blank for Trailers (VMT-316)

In Vehicle Manager > Switch to Vehicle Health View, for trailers, the Last Ignition On and Last Ignition Off columns would sometimes incorrectly display no information (blank) or inaccurate information (not in real time). Additionally, exporting the Vehicle Health View had the same issue.

Background refresh for trailer information was improved so that trailers that have recently stopped or started moving are up-to-date, and the Vehicle Health View shows the correct details for Ignition On and Ignition Off.

Reefer Fuel and Utilization Report Improvements (LMT-357, LMT-360, LMT-625)

The Reefer Fuel and Utilization Report would time out when customers attempted to create new reports that included a large amount of data, such as all fleet and vehicles over a six-month period. We optimized report performance, which resolves report-timeout issues.

A rounding error in the Engine Hours report totals has been resolved.

When creating a new report for a single fleet or a single vehicle, 360 would return a blank report. This was fixed.

Fault Code Details Reports Displays Incorrect Speed Values for US (VMT-447)

When creating the Fault Code report set to Details Report (rather than Summary Report), the Speed column always displayed values in kph units, even for US customers. Now the Speed column header shows “Speed mph” or “Speed k/ph” depending on the culture setting of the user running the report, and the values display in the correct units.

User Account Setting Information Was Blank and Not Editable (VMT-467, VMT-468)

The User > Account settings information that users can access from the upper-right user menu in 360 did not display the user’s account information. This was fixed so that the Account window displays the user’s information.

Additionally, an issue was resolved that prevented users from saving their profile information after editing.
