Enhancements

The following enhancements were completed for this release.

Accurate ECM Detection for Compliance (CR-1889)

Improved the detection and reporting of ELD malfunctions for compliance.

Enhanced Engine Hours and Distance Data Validation Logic (CR-1779, CR-2164)

Enhanced our ECU data validation logic to better handle anomaly engine hours and odometer data received from different ECU sources.

Additional Handling During Power-Off Behavior (CR-1497)

Added handling of an edge case in which power-off behavior was preventing units from powering back on. This ensures more consistent and reliable online/offline connectivity.

EV Improvements (CR-1520)

Enhanced ignition detection from CAN for EVs. The improved EV logic increases stability.

Fixed Issues

The following issues were fixed for this release.

Refined ECM Protocol Auto-Detection (CR_1892, CR-1671, CR-1607)

Refined our ECM protocol auto-detection algorithm to reduce errors and failure alerts. We improved the accuracy of correct protocol detection at the time of install.

Handle Invalid Data Received from ECU (CR-1612)

Added support to handle invalid VIN data received from vehicle ECU.

Movement Detection Improvements (CR-1960)

Improved our movement detection algorithm so the device reliably wakes up and starts tracking. Added 20 seconds to the timeout job if no sensor activity has been detected for the accelerometer wake.

Additional Handling of Internal Database (CR-2033, CR-1552, CR-1290)

Improved the reliability of storing and retrieval of the persistence data in CoreHub.
